Tickets - Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket to WOMADelaide 2012 you agree to accept the following terms and conditions:
 
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Your ticket must be valid for the day/days you attend the Event.
If you have purchased a concession ticket/pass you MUST bring valid ID to show at the gates or full price will be charged.
Anyone attempting to enter the festival site without a ticket will be handed over to the authorities and may face a charge of trespassing. 
Anyone aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
Wristbands must be worn at all times and not be taken off. Lost wristbands will not be replaced.
For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, the Event Manager reserves the right to refuse entry or to evict any person from the venue for any reason.
The Event Manager reserves the right to amend the published schedule of performances or vary running times.
This is a licensed event, which means strictly no BYO alcohol under any circumstance. A search of persons and possessions will be required at the time of entry to the festival site and the Event Manager has the right to conduct a search at any time while the ticket/pass holder is on the festival site. 
You understand that you may be photographed before, during and after the event. You agree to assign the rights to that image to the event and to allow your photograph, video or film likeness to be used for legitimate promotional or archival purposes by the Event and/or its sponsors.
No glass, alcohol, fires, animals (other than guide dogs), unauthorised performances, busking, fundraising or flyering/pamphletting are allowed on the festival site.
The Event will go ahead regardless of weather conditions.
The recording, photographing or filming of artists in performance on stage is not permitted.
Only low 'beach chairs' are allowed and they are to be used at the outer edges of the playing arenas. Standard height chairs will be confiscated at the gates.
No tents designed for camping are permitted on site. Only pop up sun shades can be used and these must be set up in the area designated for such pop ups. Any structure deemed too large or set up in the wrong area will be taken down by the Event Manager.
Any non-biodegradable packaging or waste brought onto the site must be taken home at the end of each day. 
Smoking is prohibited in front of the stages and is only permitted in the designated smoking areas.
Umbrellas are permitted but must be used at the outer edges of the playing arenas.
The Event Manager takes no responsibility for lost property.
No person shall interfere with plants, water fixtures or any other installation within the festival site.
