With their uplifting sound, Dojo Rise creates an award-winning eclectic fusion of alternative reggae, rock, pop and indie soul. From Aldinga, South Australia (Ngaltingga, Kaurna Yerta), Dojo Rise has been firing up crowds since their first show in 2021. Influenced by the new wave of reggae, dub and soul outfits such as Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Black Seeds, Stick Figure and L.A.B, the band has released nine singles and three EPs. They bring a big festival sound and energy to every live show, with a feel-good vibe that inspires and unites all audiences.  Dojo Rise have performed at Woodford Folk Festival, Space Jams Festival and Pranafest and supported the likes of Michael Franti & Spearhead, Melbourne Ska Orchestra and Skunkhour. They won the People’s Choice Award in the Blues ’n’ Roots category at the 2023 South Australian Music Awards.
