With her collaborators Mick Turner from Dirty Three and award-winning cellist Stephanie Arnold, she takes the listener on a journey, following the spirit of the music grounded in ancient language, deep listening and imagination. Jawurlngali is a member of the highly critically acclaimed Kardajala Kirridarra, which is made up of women descended from the ‘Sandhill Woman’, a mysterious bush woman from the sand hills behind the community of Marlinja.
