Up-and-coming pop/RnB singer-songwriter Meena De Silva is classically trained in piano, violin and trombone.  She released her debut album Call On Me in 2021 and, more recently, captured global attention for her silky-smooth vocals on the electro-house track Love You Right, made with Adelaide-based producer uomo.  Influenced by pop icons such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Shakira, De Silva has a Bachelor with Honors in Popular Music and Creative Technologies.  She writes, records, and performs her music at venues across Adelaide and in May 2024 she was selected to take part in the WOMADelaide x Northern Sound System Academy music development and training program.
