Since her breakout debut single Blak Britney in 2023, the rapper-singer-songwriter Miss Kaninna has been on a meteoric rise, emerging as a potent voice of punk and power. A Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon and Yirendali woman, this Naarm (Melbourne)-based artist (from lutriwita, Tasmania) has been commanding stages from a young age, fearlessly bringing the stories of her ancestors into the present. Ferociously charismatic on stage, she has performed at festivals such as Meredith Music Festival, Hay Days Festival and Beyond the Valley.
