Ngaiire, a Sydney-based artist from the Eastern Highlands and New Ireland provinces of Papua New Guinea, is known for her compelling fusion of alternative pop and future r&b filtered through her perspective as a First Nations songwriter. Lauded by Rolling Stone as “a near perfect slice of hushed future soul” her innovative sound has earned her four ARIA nominations, including Artist of the Year, and multiple accolades from the National Live Music Awards and FBi Radio. Ngaiire has shared stages with artists like Sufjan Stevens, Alicia Keys, and Flume. Beyond music, she is a talented visual artist, incorporating her artwork into performances and creating the award-nominated cover for her album 3.  Ngaiire described 3 as a collection of love letters to herself, her country, and her loved ones, revealing the stories she carries within.  Her WOMADelaide performance will be the highly anticipated world premiere of her new project, PAIA, a multi-artform collaboration resulting in a deeply immersive experience set to showcase her visionary artistry and vocal command.
