Children under 3 years of age are free and do not need to be wristbanded. Children aged 3-12 are free but must have a valid ticket to enter the festival and be accompanied by an Adult Ticket holder.

Adult ticket buyers can obtain up to two complimentary Children's tickets when booking the Adult tickets. Complimentary child tickets are ONLY available in the same transaction as your adult ticket purchase. If you are planning on bringing children to the festival, ensure the number of child tickets have been added to your cart prior to checkout. 

Additional Children's tickets can be purchased at $30 for a 4 days festival ticket or $10 per single day. 

Complimentary ticket allocation of up to two children's tickets per accompanying adult will not be available for free at the gate. If you have not secured your free child tickets prior to entering the festival, they will need to be purchased at the gates (unless sold out). 

Children must enter with a responsible adult; unaccompanied children will not gain access.

The following entitle you to a concession priced ticket:

• Full-Time Students (National and International)
• Australian Pension Card holder
• Centrelink Health Care Card holder
• A Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) card
• YHA member

You must bring relevant proof of concession as you may be asked to provide this at the gates. A Seniors Card does not entitle you to a concession ticket.

WOMADelaide is a participant of the National Companion card scheme, we make every effort to ensure the festival is accessible to our patrons.
Companion card holders qualify for concession price tickets and a second ticket at no cost for their companion. 

When you arrive at the Festival Box Office present your National Companion card, our staff will then allocate a corresponding complimentary ticket. There is a limit of one companion ticket issued on a daily basis. When attending the Festival for multiple days and retaining the same companion, a 3- or 4-Day ticket will be issued to your companion.

Discounted tickets are available for youths aged 13 – 17. There is no requirement to be accompanied by a parent or guardian when entering or attending the festival.

However, it is a condition of the event Liquor License that after midnight all people under the age of 18 must be in the company and supervision of an adult.

Any patron under the age of 18 must be in the company and supervision of an adult whilst in a dedicated bar area.

Ages are calculated at the date of entry to the Festival, please ensure you purchase the correct ticket type for your age.

Group Pricing of 10% off full priced tickets across all ticket types is available from 13 September until 15 January.

Once 10 or more of the same ticket type has been added to the cart group pricing will be automatically calculated at checkout. 

10+ tickets of the same Adult type are required to achieve the group pricing.

Gift vouchers are non – refundable.

Gift vouchers can be redeemed for any day of the festival (unless sold out prior). Vouchers can only be redeemed for WOMADelaide tickets. No change will be given. Vouchers can be used multiple times until the value has been exhausted, they can be redeemed online and are valid for a three-year period from the date of purchase. Vouchers and their unique voucher ID should be treated like cash. WOMADelaide disclaims any responsibility for lost or stolen vouchers.

Postage will start in November.

You CANNOT share your entry ticket. Multi day tickets come in the form of one wristband which gains entry and exit over the selected festival days. Once a wristband has been removed it becomes void.

Your wristband must remain on your wrist for the entire duration that you attend the Festival. Once you have secured your wristband, you will not be able to remove it without invalidating it.

If you can no longer attend due to changes in everyday circumstances such as other commitments, we suggest you gift/sell your ticket to a friend of family member.

There are no names on tickets, you do not need to request a name change or be the purchaser of the original ticket, however, you MUST know the details of the individual who made the booking.

The person using the ticket must be in the right age group for the ticket (child, youth, concession or adult).

Passouts are offered. However, you must ensure you scan OUT if you want to return to the festival on the same day in order to scan IN again.

Entry tickets are sent via Express Post and cannot be delivered to Parcel lockers. Please ensure your account has a residential, work or PO Box address. We also recommend you download the AusPost app for notifications and tracking of your tickets.

To check on your delivery status:

• Log into your WOMADelaide account
• Click on the icon arrow positioned at the top left of the screen
• Click on the WOMADelaide Tickets
• If your tickets have been posted an Australia post tracking number will appear near your order
• Visit the AP tracking site https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/search
• Copy and paste the ID number into the field to track the envelope

Festival tickets are only sold via WOMADelaide. We recommend that you do not purchase your tickets from another person unless they are known to you and you trust that your ticket will be valid. We do not take responsibility for invalid tickets.

Advertised ticket prices are exclusive of postage and service fees, these costings are listed separately prior to proceeding with the booking and will also appear on your tax invoice.

DURING THE EVENT

Our phone line will not be monitored during the festival. Presenting at either of the gate Box Offices will be the most efficient and direct way to resolve any ticketing issues you may have.
