Pick your days:
Purchase either a 1, 2, 3 or full 4 Day Ticket to WOMADelaide. Choose whichever individual day or a mix of Friday night, Saturday, Sunday and Monday that works for you. While single day tickets are the most affordable, 4 Day Tickets offer the best overall value, saving you over 40% on single day ticket prices.
Release stages:
Tickets are released in stages whereby the earlier you buy, the cheaper the ticket. Tickets in each release are limited, so get in quick! When a release sells out the next release automatically opens.
Ages:
All ages are welcome at WOMADelaide.
Adult:
Adult tickets are for people aged 18 years and over.
Youth:
Discounted tickets are available for youths aged between 13 and 17 years inclusive. There is no requirement for youths to be accompanied by a parent or guardian when entering the festival. However, it is a condition of the event’s Liquor License that after midnight all people under the age of 18 must be under the supervision of an adult.
Children:
Children aged between 3 and 12 years inclusive are free when the tickets are booked in the same order as adult tickets. Each adult ticket buyer can obtain up to two free child tickets. Additional child tickets can be purchased at $10 per day. If you have not secured your child tickets with your original order, they will need to be purchased online or at the Box Office during the festival, unless sold out.
Children aged 2 years and under are free and do not need a ticket.
Administration Fee:
Please note there is a per-ticket administration fee when purchasing your tickets. This fee covers costs associated with end-to-end service delivery for the venue and partners, which includes the system the ticket is bought through, as well as customer service and staffing at the event. 4 Day, 3 Day and 2 Day Tickets incur an administration fee of $6.90 per ticket. Single day tickets incur an administration fee of $4.95 per ticket.
Please note tickets purchased via unauthorised third-party sellers may not be valid. The ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
For all Terms & Conditions, see here.
Give the gift of music, arts and dance to family and friends with a WOMADelaide gift voucher! Gift vouchers can be purchased for any amount and are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
Gift vouchers can be redeemed for any ticket type, unless sold out prior. No change will be given. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and their unique voucher ID should be treated like cash. Please note gift vouchers cannot be redeemed on Payment Plans.
Get your group together for 5% off tickets! This offer is available for adult group bookings of 10 people or more in the First and Second Release. For more information about large group bookings, email tickets@womadelaide.com.au or call 1300 496 623.
National Companion Card holders who purchase a ticket, will be provided with a complimentary ticket for their companion/carer. To arrange the complimentary ticket, please email tickets@womadelaide.com.au immediately after you have purchased your ticket.
WOMADelaide Payment Plans give you peace of mind to secure your ticket early and pay it off in monthly instalments.
Payment plans are available for all ticket types purchased before 30 November 2026.
Tickets ordered via Payment Plan require an initial payment of 10% of the order, plus fees. The remainder of instalments will be equally divided. All instalments must be finalised by the 15th of January. The instalment payments will be automatically charged each month to the credit card used for the initial payment. Please ensure your credit card has available funds and is valid.
If a scheduled instalment fails to process, the system will attempt to deduct any outstanding payments on the 15th of the month. In addition to the scheduled payment, a $10 missed payment fee will apply for each failed instalment.
Tickets purchased under the Payment Plan will not be delivered until all payments have been finalised.
Payment Plan tickets are subject to all other terms and conditions of the WOMADelaide ticketing agreement.
Wristbands:
Upon completion of your purchase a confirmation email is sent to you. If the email does not appear in your inbox please check your spam folder. Purchasers will be allocated a unique barcoded wristband; this wristband is your entry and exit to the festival and cannot be removed. You cannot share your wristband. 4 Day tickets come in the form of one wristband which gains you entry and exit over all festival days. 3 Day, 2 Day and 1 Day ticket holders will receive one or multiple wristbands for their chosen days.
Please wear the relevant wristband on the correct day.
Postage:
Postage will commence in late October.
Tickets purchased between September and February incur a $5.50 Domestic Tracking fee per order. Tickets purchased between late February and early March incur a $9.50 Express Post fee per order. These postage fees will be automatically applied to your order.
Check your postage status and tracking ID in your account here.
Overseas Customers:
We can only post tickets within Australia. If you reside overseas, you can collect your ticket from the Box Office at either the Hackney Road or Frome Road entrance during the festival.
Late Purchases:
If you book close to the festival and miss the postage deadline, your wristbands can be collected from the Box Office at either the Hackney Road or Frome Road entrance. Please have a valid ID and your order number ready when collecting your wristbands.
Lost Wristbands:
Every wristband is uniquely identified by a barcode linking the wristband to the purchaser. Where tickets are lost, misplaced or damaged, the Foundation will charge a $5 administration fee plus postage fees to issue replacement tickets. Please contact tickets@womadelaide.com.au.
Refunds:
Tickets are non-refundable except as required by law, in accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for Event Ticketing.
Refunds will not be given for the following reasons: failure to attend the event, change of mind, everyday circumstances, changes to the line-up/program, artist cancellations, inclement/severe weather (this is an all-weather event), refused entry or eviction from the event, event dissatisfaction.
If you can no longer attend, we suggest you gift your ticket to someone known to you and provide them with the original order number and order confirmation email so they are able to seek our assistance at the Box Office if necessary. WOMADelaide does not offer a ticket resale facility.
Upgrades & Exchanges:
Tickets can be exchanged for different days or upgraded to more days, and are valued at the time of the exchange or upgrade. For example, if a ticket is originally purchased during the first release and an upgrade or exchange is requested during the second release, the cost will be based on second release pricing. WOMADelaide does not downgrade tickets for any reason.
WOMADelaide Box Offices are located at the Hackney Road and Frome Road entrances during the festival dates. Please see the map here.
