We are so excited that you can spend four delightful days with us in Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla this weekend!

Before you head into the park to experience the best live music, arts and dance from around the world, here is some useful information to keep in mind.

Wristbands

If you have not yet received your wristband(s) in the post OR are collecting from the onsite Box Offices, bring your order number and photo ID. Box offices are located at both entrances to the Festival.

Remember all children aged 3-12 years are required to wear a wristband. Please add a contact number for the responsible parent/carer to be written on children's wristbands.

If you have not booked your children's tickets they can be purchased at the gate.

Gate opening times

Friday: 4pm
Saturday: 11am
Sunday: 11am
Monday: 11am

Entry to the festival is via two gates. Frome Road (opposite Victoria Drive) and Hackney Road (at Plane Tree Drive). Find Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla on Google Maps HERE.

Stay Sun Smart

It will be gorgeous weather on the weekend but please make sure to stay cool!

With the new layout of WOMADelaide there will be more opportunities for shade and misters will be set up around the park.

Check the map for free water stations located around the park.

Bring your own refillable water bottle! Swing by Miss Isla for free water infusions. Tap water is one of the best choices you can make for your health, the environment and your wallet.

Find the Channel 9 Sunscreen Station at TerryWhite Chemmart next to the Info Booth.

Slip on some protective clothing. Slop on SPF50+ sunscreen. Slap on a hat. Seek shade. Slide on some sunglasses.

Please take your belongings home

Please take your belongings home with you each day. Any items left in the park overnight will be donated to charity.

We ask this as a security requirement of our agreement for the use of Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla and as courtesy to fellow festivalgoers. WOMADelaide takes no responsibility for items left in the park.

Car parking / getting here

Parking is limited! There is no parking available on site and little in adjacent residential streets, so we recommend you carpool and park 'n' walk from the city (5-10 mins walk), or ride a bike and park at our onsite bike parking at each entrance, or share a cab/uber with friends.

Adelaide Metro will again have a dedicated WOMADelaide bus shuttle that will operate during the festival. Read all bus and tram options here.

Pre-book for night and weekend parking at UPark Rundle, UPark Frome or UPark Pirie Flinders. Convenient and affordable parking that’s open 24 hours and just a short walk to Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla.
